Say Goodbye to useless Meetings.

     Welcome readers! My name is Daina Amaya. I'm a person involved in many business ventures like dog grooming, selling clothes and accounting for my boyfriends boss. i have experience with good and bad businesses. The ones that make for a good business is effective teamwork and consistent work with communication barriers. One of the most effective ways to communicating with team members is to have effective meetings. As for me i know i have struggled to communicate and understand others in my business. To become more of a resourceful team member i have understood the barriers of communication and the tools to remove them.

    If you are someone who feels they struggle to make their voice heard or see that your own business has communication barriers, then you've come to the right place. Communication barriers can affect your business and your personal life. When being in a team we want to have a shared goal; which also implies having or arriving at a shared meaning of the goal. The way to arrive at a shared meaning is to have meaningful meetings. 

    Work meetings can have a positive or negative impact in the way the team members articulate the goal. The negative impacts include noise, ineffective listening, not managing emotions and incivility, Each one of these barriers have components to them. Meaning noise could be either internal, semantic, physical or physiological. Components to ineffective listening could be lack of time, fear of bad news, judgement etc. If these components don't get brought up and worked on, then the business could be at a risk of poor financial performance. To overcome poor communications in any business we will need to understand the tasks needed to ensure quality meetings consistently.
